Yoga +Weights TT (Sept 2017)
Spark Yoga is excited to offer Yoga + Weights teacher training!
Spark Yoga + Weights is high intensity interval training designed to build endurance, increase strength, lean out muscles, boost agility, and improve coordination. Learn to deliver a fun and challenging 60 minute Yoga + Weights experience. Trainees will learn to:
- Incorporate weights in a safe and intelligent sequence.
- Structure a Yoga + Weights class as a weight lifting intensive class grounded in yoga postures and principles.
- Integrate cardio to raise heart rate and maximize muscle toning.
- Explore body mechanics, anatomy and musculoskeletal structure through a full 2-day course
- Adjust students to align students properly
- Design verbal cues to lead a fun and inspiring class
- Practice Choreography for full classes
- Tailor playlists to move the class effectively
- Practice teach classes weekly and receive immediate feedback

Pre-Requisite For TT: 20 Spark Barre classes, availability to commit to all training hours, strong physical/mental/emotional health, and a desire to learn!
